What this site is

woeusb.cc is an independent reference for the open-source WoeUSB / WoeUSB-ng tool. It explains how to create bootable Windows USB media on Linux and points you to the software. We do not host a modified build or bundle extra software; downloads lead to the original project on the official WoeUSB-ng GitHub repository.

No affiliation

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation or by the WoeUSB / WoeUSB-ng project and its maintainers. "Windows" is a trademark of the Microsoft group of companies. "As is" software and the risk of data loss

WoeUSB-ng is third-party, open-source software. The tool and any instructions on this site are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Creating a bootable installer is a destructive operation: WoeUSB erases the entire target USB drive and writes new partition and boot data to it. If you select the wrong device, you can permanently lose data on that disk. Always confirm the target device name, back up anything important first, and understand that you use the tool and follow any instructions entirely at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, woeusb.cc and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages - including lost data, erased drives, failed installations, hardware that will not boot, or downtime - arising from your use of this site, the tool, or any third-party resource we link to.

Outbound links and downloads

The site links to external websites and download hosts (such as GitHub and Microsoft) that we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or policies.
