This page describes how woeusb.cc ("we", "us", or "our") treats information when you visit. The site is intentionally minimal: it is a reference for the open-source WoeUSB / WoeUSB-ng utility and a place to download it, nothing more.

What we ask you for

Nothing. woeusb.cc is a static website with no accounts, no sign-ups, and no contact forms. We do not request, collect, store, sell, or rent your name, email address, or other personal details through the site. The only data handling that occurs comes from our hosting provider's standard logs and from the advertising network described further down.

Hosting logs

As with virtually every website, the server that hosts woeusb.cc may automatically record routine technical details - such as an IP address, browser type, and which pages were requested - for the sole purpose of keeping the site available, performant, and secure. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors, and we do not merge them with any other source of data.

Cookies and advertising

woeusb.cc is supported by third-party advertising served through Google AdSense. To display those ads, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies. Google's advertising cookie, for example, lets Google and its partners select ads based on your visits to this and other sites across the web.

Downloads and outbound links

Selecting a download or an outbound link takes you away from woeusb.cc to a third-party service, most often the official WoeUSB-ng project on GitHub. We link to the original, unmodified project - we do not host, repackage, or alter the software, and we never distribute Windows itself. Those external services operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.

Children

woeusb.cc is aimed at a general, technical audience and does not knowingly gather information from children.

This policy may change over time. When it does, the revised version is posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
